Habitat: Rocky areas and reefs
Depth: Subtidal to 10+ metres
This small brown algae grows in tufts of branches that dichotomously fork. The fronds often have a blue or green iridescent sheen. This species is found Australia-wide, as well as in the Indian and Atlantic Oceans.
