Microcarbo melanoleucos - Little Pied Cormorant

The Little Pied Cormorant is a black and white shorebird, present in bays and estuaries, as well as inland waters, where it feeds on crustaceans and fishes. It has a long neck, and is similar in appearance to the Pied Cormorant (Phalacrocorax varius), but is smaller, and has a comparitavely shorter bill.
