This shrimp is commonly found in rocky areas, and can be abundant in rockpools. Transparent and covered in thin red and orange lines, and fine spots, they are often only visible because of the distinctive red collars on their claws, a feature that dinstiguishes this shrimp from other similar species. A cleaner species, they will even attend to divers' gear and skin if they remain still enough.
