The Tasmanian Blenny is the most common blenny found in SA. It is found in a variety of habitats, but usually likes to poke its head out of rock crevices, the shells of large bivalves such as Pinna bicolor or even man-made objects such as glass bottles. It can be identified by its brown banded colouration, squarish head and medium to long eye tentacles, which can often be extravagantly branched.
