This small to medium anemone has white tentacles with an orange oral disc. The column is also white, with greenish black stripes. It is commonly found on or under rocks in the intertidal or shallow subtidal zones. Occasionally darker specimens can be found, with orange tentacles and a greenish orange oral disc.
