This attractive snail has a yellowish-tan to peach coloured shell with a pattern of darker zigzag axial lines. It usually has four whorls, which are distinctively convex and is relatively squat, with a short spire. It is almost identical to Phasianella australis, but can be separated by its shorter spire. Experts can also distinguish this species by its colouration and pattern.
