Polycarpa viridis

This medium-sized solitary ascidian is oval, with a smooth test, which is sometimes sparsely encrusted with epiphytes. It is cream in colour, and has short siphons with no distinct lobes. It can be found on rock walls and jetty pylons, as well as on the sea floor on gravel substrate.
