Scaberia agardhii

Scaberia agardhii is a species of brown algae that is common in areas of moderate to strong water movement. It has a short stipe growing from its conical holdfast, from which several primary branches grow along with dense bunches of laterals. These laterals are partly are smooth, conical and slender, but a significant portion of their length is extremely thick, warty and nodular. This species is very distinctive and unique in South Australia.
