This medium-sized species has thick tentacles that range from bright green to a greenish-bown in colour. Its mouth is white, with a pink-tinged edge. Despite its distinctive colouration, it can be mistaken for a number of green or brown species, such as Oulactis, but can be distinguished by the lack of speckling in its tentacles, and the relative absence of debris on the column and around the disc.
