Depth: Mid intertidal

This relatively common intertidal gastropod is found on rocks, and often occurs with other species in the Australicochlea genus, including the more common A. constricta. It can be distinguished by its comparitavely short spire, a complete lack of ribbing and plain colouration, usually yellowish white.
