An undescribed clingfish, this species lives amongst Ecklonia kelp on rocky reefs. Greenish to brown in colour, it has two dark horizontal stripes that extend from its lip, through the eye and to the gill slit. It also usually has small darker brown blotches on its body. This species is very similar in appearance to Parvicrepis parvipinnis, but has a much longer snout - usually longer than it is wide.
