Size: 5 cm

Distribution: All SA coastal and gulf waters

Habitat: In association with brown algae

This nudibranch is orange-brown, with a blueish spot in front of and between the rhinophores. It has short and plump translucent cerata, with dense white spots. The cerata tips are white, with a thin orange ring below, and a diffused blueish ring below this. It resembles a number of aeolid nudibranch species, such as Austraeolis ornata and the introduced Godiva quadricolor, but the pattern on the cerata is distinctive.
