E. boodleae is an introduced species of Sacoglossan slug from Japan. It is mostly black, with orange-tipped cerata, with a small white point at the end. Occasionally the orange tips are absent. The rhinophores are black with a white stripe or tip. This species is similar to the closely-related Ercolania margaritae, but it does not have the green or purplish pigmentation of that species.
