Nemadactylus valenciennesi - Blue Morwong

Much less common on the SA coastline than the Dusky Morwong and Magpie Perch, the Blue (or Queen) Morwing shares the deeply forked tail and large lips. Silvery-blue in colour, with thin yellow stripes that are more pronounced around the eye, this species also has a large dark blotch on the side of the body, which fades as the fish matures.
