Pyura irregularis

This distinctive white to cream ascidian is usually lightly to moderately encrusted. Its test is marked by large depressions and sharp ridges, and its long siphons are furrowed. This gives it the appearance of having been deflated. The long siphons distinguish it from similar species, such as Cnemidocarpa radicosa.
