Distribution: All SA coastal and gulf waters

Habitat: Exposed rocky reef and coast, in crevices or bore-holes in rock

Depth: Intertidal to shallow subtidal

Usually found wedged into crevices in rock, this whitish bivalve can be difficult to spot. It is heavily ridged, with fine radial ribbing.
