This small, slow-moving, disc-shaped leatherjacket is greenish to brown and covered in rows of rings or spots, some of which radiate out from the eyes in a star burst pattern. Often found in clumps of algae on jetty pylons, larger males have a flap of skin that hangs down from the underside.
