Bullseyes (Family Pempheridae) are a family of small schooling fishes, rarely exceeding 20cm in length. They can be recognised by their small, pointed dorsal fin, long anal fin, and large eyes. Commonly encountered under rock overhangs and around structures, they are mostly drab coloured, in silver or copper tones.
