Common in rock pools and rocky reefs, this mostly light coloured snail usually has spiral bands or dashes of darker shades of brown or black along its length. It has a relatively high spire, and is mostly smooth with slight axial folds or nodules. It lays distinctive leaf-shaped egg cases.
