Costatophora granifera

This small snail does not grow to more than 1 cm in length. It is pale, with some darker patches, and each whorl is separated into four beaded cords. This snail is very difficult to distinguish from other elongated microsnails (ie, Triphoridae, Cerithiidae), and usually requires expert assistance.
